Open Question: IM SO FRUSTRATED WITH TRYING TO LOOSE WEIGHT.?

Ive been trying to lose weight and I hear that you have to eat up to 1200 plus cals to make sure your body doesn't go into starvation mode, but Im literally having trouble trying to get up there. I almost got sick trying to stuff more food into my mouth trying to up my calorie intake. Does it have to be like this , i dont feel healthier this way but frustrated, tired, nauseous, angry, stressed and overly full. I feel like this eat more to lose weight is some cosmic joke, does anyone have this problem, or has lost weight going under that 1200 calorie count? What makes it even worse is that I exercise and I hear you have to eat even more doing that to make up for the calories burned. What should I do? I felt more healthy and satisfied just getting in just two meals a day, now when I look at food i kinda dread the whole process. And what about extra calories burned? Lets say you can collect information about calories burned on a exercising machine so you know what to make up later. But what about later in the day when your out, lets day dancing or something but you cant possibly know how many you burned.. Weight magic i didnt say i only consumed 500 calories per day, i said i had cut back 500 from my maintaining weight. My maintaining weight is 1720 so me loosing wight would be 1220. Robert did a better job at helping me out with less wording.
