Open Question: How do I seriously lose weight? Do you have a story?
I'm 15, 5"4 and 210 pounds. I thought being heavy would pass off but I've realized how much of a problem it is. No one brings me down about my weight though I'm still not confident. I want to be healthy and have a nice size.
I finally made some good friends and we went shopping for one of their dresses (she was going to a wedding). When we went to the stores I noticed how much smaller all the clothes were... none of them could ever fit me. My two best friends are size 1 and 0 - I'm a size 18 (and only 15!)! I don't really want to be that small but I just want to be able to walk into a store and try on a large selection of clothes.
I've started to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day (to keep the metabolism going), with a fruit or vegetable in each meal. What are some good foods to eat?
And what exercises can I do that will definitely help? I've started to walk around the neighborhood for 30 minutes everyday.
I know losing a lot of weight won't be fast and maybe even hard at first.
