Ok, so I’m working on losing about 10 more pounds, lowering my body fat % and gaining a bit more muscle strength. I’m doing cardio 30-60 minutes 5-6 times a week, usually walking & jogging in intervals. I also lift weights 3 times a week. Right now my only problem is adjusting & fine tuning my diet. I already don’t eat unhealthy crap like chips & pop. Anyways I eat. About 1500-1700 calories a day. I’ve cut back on carbs a bit & upped my protein, I’m just not sure about the fat grams. This is what I ate today: smothie (strawberries, kiwi, agave syrup, soy milk), cheese, special k protein bar (I won’t be eating any more of these since they’re high in sugar), cottage cheese, salad (spinach leaves, morning star fake chicken, cheese, honey mustard dressing), & a protein shake. That came to about 1550 calories, 112g carbs, 16g fiber, 121g protein, 69g sugar, 53g fat. I didn’t plan out today, just went back & calculated everything. Ideally it’d be about 100g protein, 50-100g carbs, & no more than 30g sugar. How many grams of fat should I aim for? I feel that 53 is pretty high, but I honestly don’t know. Thanks for the input!
