well, are any of you even knowledgeable or does it just “sound” like nonsense? I knew a lady that lost 100 pounds eating brown rice for a year for Lunch and Dinner and also, Asian people FOCUS on brown rice as the main course and then choose small amounts of meats and veggies unlike us fatty Americans. Maybe I should just eat like they do, they are so small and live for so long, they must be doing something right! Brown rice is SOOOOOOOOOO good for you! It has vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein!

I’m in my 30s. I watch what I eat and workout weekly (at least 3 times) but I haven’t been able to lose more than 5 lbs. My goal is to lose 25lbs. but I’ve not been able to lose more.
So, how do I boost my metabolism? All I get is vitamin B6, which helps with metabolism.

Im 18 years old, and i was looking at the symptoms, and i have the following which is also symptoms of hyperthyroidism:
Insomnia yet tiredness, irritability (but i thought this was due to stress/ lack of sleep), nervousness (ive been noted on my fidgeting), unexplained weight loss (currently underweight but have had no change in my diet), ive had no period, but ive always had issues with my period because im a later developer, rapid heart beat (ive been kept awake at night due to my heartbeat), struggling to breath from time to time, shaky hands and my wrist makes a very weird loud noise

AND i never knew that the thyroid was in the neck … this now makes me realise that ive had this odd feeling in the thyroid area like a blockage of some sorts, is this a symptom of thyroid issues?

My weight is 270.
My BMR is 2,504
I Burn 3,103 walking 400 mins. on the tredmill at a speed of 3.5 mph
I eat 1,200 calories a day, Breakfest and Luch are Lean Shakes and Dinner is 6 pices of Sushi
I take a weight loss pill

I have been eating 1700 calories a day for the past 3 weeks and Ive lost 16 pounds and part of my diet was a chocolate bar. I ate a chocolate bar every other day or so and it didnt seem to hinder weight loss at all. So I started eating french fries as well. I still lost a total of 4 pounds on week 3 so my mindset is “Its not what you eat but how much.” Is that true in a sense? I lost what most try to lose in a month, in 3 weeks by eating a relatively clean diet with a little bit of candy and junk food. Someone tell me if my field of thinking is accurate thanks.

*Also I am a male 6′2” and I went from 190 lbs to 175ish.
